About Us

Hi! I’m Scott.

I started King Country Chiropractic in 2008 after graduating from NZ College of Chiropractic (NZCC).

There was no single, profound experience that led me to joining the Chiropractic profession but growing up with it as a normal way of life certainly had an impact.

I grew up in the small rural community of Tirohanga, where my parents owned a dry stock farm. I graduated from Taupo Nui–A–Tia College in 2001, and went on to graduate from NZCC in 2007.

Upon graduating from NZCC I wanted to return to a rural lifestyle, and had my heart set on the King Country area. On March 12th 2008, King Country Chiropractic opened its doors.

When I’m not at the office you can find me hanging out/adventuring with my wife (Kylie) and 3 boys (Archie, Hugo and Otis), trail running/training for ultra marathons or at the nearest ski field on my snowboard.

Hi! I’m Alana.

I was born in England and moved to Auckland with my family when I was 13 years old to enjoy a more outdoors and adventurous lifestyle. Throughout school, I was an avid middle distance runner. However, a serious injury in my last year of school led me to discover the value of chiropractic as it helped enable me to be able to compete again.

I studied at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and graduated in 2022. I am now excited to be joining the King Country Chiropractic team. In my free time, I enjoy staying active by hiking, cycling, and rowing competitively. I believe that a balanced lifestyle is key to maintaining overall health and wellbeing. I am committed to helping my patients achieve their wellness goals and improve their quality of life.

Hi! I’m Julia.

My journey with Chiropractic began when I was just 3 weeks old. I’ve always loved playing sports and was an avid horse rider and competitive swimmer during high school. To keep up with my active lifestyle, I had regular chiropractic appointments which not only helped with managing and preventing injuries but also helped increase my performance.

I have a passion for helping people of all ages achieve their health and wellness goals. My focus is on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive.

In 2023 I graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Since then I have worked at a lovely semi-rural practice in West Auckland where I grew up. However I found myself wanting to get out of Auckland and am excited to be part of the Waikato region. I look forward to caring for the Otorohanga community and enabling people to function at their best.

When I’m not at work you can find me training for triathlons, photographing horse events and weddings or relaxing at the beach/lake with friends.
